 Experience Change with Ascending Wellness

We’re Here to Listen

Gender and sexual acceptance has grown more rapidly in the past decade than ever before. However, there is still much left to be desired. Discrimination and oppression are still very real for a large majority of LGBTQIA+ folx. Many emotions come along with coming out, starting new relationships, marriage, not to mention starting a family or the process of transitioning.

We all experience funks at times. When those funks become harder to pull yourself out of it may be  time to turn to a professional for help. Depression tells us we are suffering and have to suffer alone. That's simply not true. Click below for a free consultation and let's talk.

Anxiety can rear it's head in so many forms. Sometimes, Anxiety is so cleaver that it makes us think something else like a heart attack or other illness is happening. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques are a great ways I can assist you in fighting back against your anxiety.

Self-Esteem

So many things contribute to cutting us down. Peers, partners, family, celebrities, and athletes just to name a few. Getting your groove back through self-love and acceptance is vital. Let's get you back to being the best you, you can be.

Addictions

Whether you are concerned about your addictive behaviors or a loved one has brought concerns about your use to your attention, it's worth discussing. From education to harm-reduction to abstinence there is no wrong way. Let's begin your journey today.

Therapy Models

Like most therapists, I pull from a variety of therapy models. As a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist, I lean heavily on Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Affirmative Therapy is just as important as supports and validates LGBTQIA+ clients through their journey.
